Monet has always been around: it's an idea waiting to happen, a life waiting to be lived.
It transcends the third dimension, yet it can be felt, seen and perceived.

Monet has always been around: it's an idea waiting to happen, a life waiting to be lived.
It transcends the third dimension, yet it can be felt, seen and perceived.
Welcome to my creative output.
Creativity has always been a fundamental part of who I am.
At the age of 10, I fell in love with photography. Simultaneously, I discovered my passion for videography while working on my YouTube channel, where I shared comedy skits and short films.
The pandemic prompted a shift to graphic design, with creations like posters and gradients showcased on Instagram. This phase introduced me to software like Procreate, still integral part of my creative process.
My artistic journey expanded as I ventured into music at the age of 12 under the nickname James Jay. I designed artworks for my songs and directed my own music videos. The evolution from innocent shows I'd put on for my family as a child to composing my own tracks allowed me to grasp the importance of this art form to my well-being.
Slowly, this unveiled my passion for the world of fashion, becoming the catalyst for my self-discovery. Through countless designs, fabric experiments, and sewing endeavours, Monet by James, my brand, was born—a passion project that involves managing every aspect.
As I continue on this artistic journey, I acknowledge the long road ahead in fully defining myself. At my core, I remain the same creative, passionate, energetic, hard-working, and determined being. And all these qualities and ideas form the identity you know as Monet.
